iPhone reappeared in Find My after being removed last year

The iPhone was removed on the date that was listed and today it just reappeared. It says it will be removed but the date was last year so I need help getting rid of it again

If the device is logged in with the same Apple ID as your device, it will automatically reappear in the Find My app. This is because Find My is linked to your Apple ID, which allows Apple to track and manage all devices associated with your account. As long as the device remains signed in with your Apple ID and is connected to the internet, its location and status will be updated in the Find My app.

Yes - the phone was damaged and not working when it was deleted last fall - it was removed from the account after the 30days and just reappeared on Find My 2 days ago showing that it will be removed on the date last fall when it was removed. The broken phone is still in my possession so there is no way someone else tried to reactivate it after repair.
