Volkswagen CarPlay not working through USB ports

My Volkswagen plays music through Bluetooth but the usb1 and usb2 do not use CarPlay anymore. It was working perfectly for a year and then two weeks ago the option to use usb1/2 disappeared. The usb ports both still charge my phone but don’t enable CarPlay anymore. I have tried everything: I reset my radio, restarted my phone, bought several new cords, took it to the dealership, tried to reconnect to CarPlay in settings and nothing will work. I need help and Volkswagen wouldn’t help me even though I was there for 5 hours today.
