iCloud Enabled: If you have enabled iCloud for iMessages, the media (such as photos, videos, and audio messages) sent and received through iMessage will be stored in iCloud. This allows you to access your iMessages, including media, across all your Apple devices, as long as you're signed into the same Apple ID and have iCloud syncing enabled for Messages.
iCloud NOT enabled: Media (photos, videos, and audio files) received in the iOS Messages app do not automatically download or transfer to the Photos or Voice Memos apps. They remain within the Messages app unless you take action to save or export them.
