CapCut is why I invested in an iPad. Bring it back, please.

I deleted the CapCut app because it was stuck in error and figured I could redownload. No dice. Seriously? My Android phone can access it. I use Apple because I thought you guys were the mightiest. Please bring back CapCut. I just sunk my savings into an iPad to enjoy it on. Thanks.

TechRadar – CapCut hit by US ban – and in completely unrelated news, Instagram has just revealed a new video-editing app

If you delete that app from your Android phone and try to redownload it, you will probably find that it is absent from the Google Play Store. When the law making it illegal to distribute the TikTok app went into effect in the U.S., both Apple and Google removed the TikTok app from their respective app stores. Assuming that the law also covers the CapCut app (which it sounds like it does) and that Google is aware of this, Google would have pulled CapCut from the Google Play Store for the same reason that Apple pulled it: to comply with U.S. law.
