Payment Method and Card Removal Issue on My Apple Account
Hello, Community,
I’m facing an issue with my Apple account that is preventing me from properly using my iPhone. Below is a detailed explanation of the problem:
I have two Visa cards registered in my Apple account. Both cards have worked perfectly for purchases on the Apple Store in the past, but suddenly, they stopped working. Now, both cards are marked as “Failed” under Payment and Shipping, and I receive the following message:
"To avoid interruptions to your subscriptions and purchases, verify your payment method."
When I try to verify the cards (updating the expiration date and CVV), they continue to be rejected.
Additionally:
- I have already canceled all subscriptions on my account.
- I tried removing the cards, but I could only remove the secondary card. The primary card cannot be removed, and I receive the message:
- "You cannot remove this card because there are paid services associated with it."
- The services associated with the primary card are:
- Pixelcut AI Photo Editor (Canceled, subscription ends on November 12).
- TV Remote – Universal Control Annual Premium (Canceled, subscription ends on June 4).
Based on my understanding, I will only be able to remove the primary card after November 12, when the subscription for Pixelcut AI Photo Editor expires.
What I Have Already Tried
- I signed out and signed back into my Apple account.
- I canceled all subscriptions.
- I tried adding a new card, but both cards continue to be rejected during verification.
- I deleted my subscription for the two services (Pixelcut AI Photo Editor and TV Remote).
- I consulted Apple support forums and other resources, but no solution has worked.
Current Impact
Due to this issue:
- I cannot update my apps.
- I cannot make new purchases or subscriptions on the Apple Store.
What I Would Like to Know
- Is there any way to resolve this issue before November 12?
- Is it possible to remove the primary card and fix the payment failures without waiting for the subscription period to end?
- If necessary, I no longer wish to use the associated services and would like them removed to resolve the problem.
Thank you in advance for the community’s help! Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
