How do I delete content from iPad without affecting iPhone or iMac?

I want to delete messages, photos etc from my iPad but I am concerned they will also be removed from my iPhone and iMac. Appreciate any advice

If you wish to delete items from just your iPad without affecting other devices, ensure that you have disabled the Apps and Apple Services that you do not wish to synchronise with (and from) the iPad.


On your iPad:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud - explicitly disable the Apps and Services that you do not wish to synchronise.


Apps and services that you disable will not synchronise deletions with your Mac and iPhone.
