I press and hold a photo in email and select save image and nothing happens. No photo appears in Recents under the Photos app. I do not have a storage space issue. I have tried rebooting (several times). I have updated my software to the latest (iOS 18.2.1). I have reset Network Settings. I have even deleted, rebooted, and added back my Outlook e-mail.

RESOLVED by Sami from Apple Support: Photos were being saved to Recents by date the photo was originally taken rather than by date the email with the photo was sent. Thus there were like 25 of the same photo much earlier in my recents lol. Thank you Sami!
