How do I create white fonts with black outline on iMac?

Does anyone know how to create a white font with black outline?

It can also be done in Apple's Pages and the particular font may lend itself to better effect. Here Helvetica Regular 13 pt is used with 200% enlargement.



I started with black text, selected it, and chose a white text color. While still selected, I clicked the more options text selector ⛭ and on that panel, clicked Outline. For the outline, I selected a solid 0.4 pt black line. You might consider adding + that text style to your Character Styles panel as shown below:
