“How to Locate and Sort Recently Added Photos in the Photos App Regardless of Date Metadata”
I have many photos in the Photos app, taken on different dates. Someone sends me a photo with an older date via iMessage app.
In iMessage, I received a photo. I clicked on it. It opened in full-screen mode. In the bottom-right corner, I clicked the icon with an arrow pointing toward a rectangle. The rectangle filled with blue color. I clicked the icon again. A message appeared: ‘This photo has already been saved to your iCloud Photo Library.’ and two buttons: ‘Save Duplicate’ and ‘Cancel’
I opened the Photos app. It displayed the most recently taken photos sorted by date. The photo from iMessage is not visible. iMessage does not provide information about the (EXIF) date of the photo.
I tried to find the photo using the search in Photos, but I don’t know the location of the photo. I also tried searching by objects in the photo, but apparently, Photos AI didn’t recognize them.
How can I sort photos not by date but by the most recently added ones in Photos?
