Issues with charging cable

I've been having issues with my USB-C to lightning charging cable. It stopped working to charge my phone (SE 2020) a few days ago. I think it's an issue with the cord itself, because it doesn't work with any block I've used. The weird thing is that it works fine to charge my AirPods (pro 2), as well as my friend's AirPods (same model). Is there something about the cord that would cause it to only work to charge AirPods? And is there anything I can do to fix it?

iPhone SE, iOS 17

I had a problem like that once; a cable that wouldn’t work in my phone, but worked in the techs phone at the Genius bar. He just gave me a new cable. Have you tried the cable with other iPhones, not just AirPods? I ask because there are 4 microcircuits in the Lightning plug (nanocircuits?), and probably not all of them are used in charging AirPods. So if one fails that could explain what is going on.
