Unable to find total photos count in iOS 18.3 Photos App

Just transferred old SE Gen 2 iPhone (iOS 17.6.1) data to new iPhone 15 (iOS 18.3). The old SE phone shows 1,483 photos at the bottom of Photo Library>All Photos. The new iPhone 15 18.3 iOS doesn’t have the same format, which when the photos app is opened, scrolls down to the heading Media Types, under which shows 749 Live Photos, but no Total Photos. So I am unclear if all photos did get transferred to the new phone or not. Does the 18.3 iOS Photos App show the total number of photos anywhere at all? Are the Live Photos count exclude non-Live Photos, and if so, is there anyway to see the non-Live Photo count on iOS 18.3?
