My "Weather" app shows two Los Angeles entries.

My "Weather" app shows two summaries for "Los Angeles".

The two have different temperatures.

Apparently they are for different neighborhoods within Los Angeles.

How can I find out which neighborhood is associated with each summary?

I am using Weather.app in macOS Sequoia 15.2 on a MacBook Air M1, 2020.

I found it! Clicking on the map expands the map and produces + and - buttons. One summary turns out to be for Chatsworth, the other is Griffith Park.

1) Is there a way to relabel these summaries? Right now, they are both called "Los Angeles".

2) Is there a way to add new measuring points, or move them, within a city?

3) File -> Add Location to List ⇧⌘L seems always dimmed. How to undim?

Deleting them is easy. Control-click on it in the list.

try a different weather app and compare your results.

The difference between 43 and 44 is hardly nothing to one...

it is not an exact science.

Thank you, leroy, for the authoritative (Level 10!) clarity, "I do not see how it is possible to custom label."

I have updated to macOS 15.3, as you suggested. I see no obvious differences.

The multiple locations you depicted were available in 15.2. My guess is that I set up the two plain Los Angeleses long ago, using a prior version, and simply forgot.

Thanks, also for the links to the documentation.

Apple seem to be actively fiddling with this app. Rather than offer suggestions or report an anomaly, I'd prefer right now to wait and see what they come up with. Considering your clarity, this version will be adequate.

Thanks again,
