So in settings it says I have 101 passwords that have been used in a data leekand and are compromised … 😬 and I should I change immediately ? can I delete the app although some are not apps just websites that require a sign in .. is the hide option enough in settings- please help- thank you

Leak is when something is unintentionally released.
Deleting your app is not going to secure your password.
Your account information was stolen from the service provider.
The only way to secure your accounts across the various services is to change your password.

If you just hide the notification in Passwords, that won't solve the underlying problem. It's a bit head in the sand.
If you want to fix things, change the passwords. Start with any apps or accounts that might contain important personal information. Do a few every day, working down to the ones that probably don't matter too much.

Potato and leek soup is a wonderful thing in the winter. Don't know if it's Welsh but if it is, I'm grateful to them.
