Charging port not working iPhone 13

Then there is water in your iPhone. That is giving hardware issues from the port. So, I recommend getting this serviced. Setup a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store, taking it in for service. There, it will be diagnosed, and you'll be provided with your options.

"Charging port not working iPhone 13: My water detector came on. On my iPhone 13zIt gave the option to bypass so I did to charge it. It worked for a short time then stopped working. This was 2 days ago I’ve been using a magnet charger. Will my port work again or did I damage it for good by using the bypass?"

Charging MagSafe or Cable:

Using a MagSafe charger, and then going from that to using a cable, all would be expected to operate as it should. If there is damage to the port, then expect there to be a problem with the charge. So, what happens when you try?

Liquid Damage:

If you have a water detected, then does that not seem ideal for what has occurred (i.e. not being by water)? If there Is water in the iPhone, then you should get it serviced. Contact your local retailers, seeing if they have a device for getting water removed from a cell phone (office supply retailers have a reputation for having these). If you cannot find one, then take your iPhone to an Apple Store. You'd setup a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store, taking it in for service. There, it will be diagnosed, and you'll be provided with your options.

"Nothing is happening when I put the cable in. I tried turning it off and putting the cable in. The iPhone came on when I plugged it in but wouldn’t charge. Nothing is happening."

Let things be with the cable --just get it serviced. Note that iPhones are water-resistant --not waterproof. Googling this to find this out: are iPhone waterproof

Unfortunately, a splash in the wrong place is all that it will take.

You can take the phone in to Apple for service, but if water damage is detected, Apple will refuse to repair the phone, so that option goes out the window.

No iPhone has ever been waterproof.

You might be thinking of "water resistant", but that is a controlled laboratory test that doesn't have much value in the real world. A splash in the right (or wrong) place....like the charging port....will take it out.

Unless things have changed, at least you can charge the phone wirelessly.

Surprise! The technology at apple there is not any waterproof devices yet. It might happen in 2030 is what it feels like. The technology still has a long way to advance
