Magnified icon display on iPhone 16 Pro home screen

My wife and I both have 16 pro phones mine 256Gb hers 128Gb.

On mine, if I press the top icons on the home screen for battery level,  Wi-Fi, mobile signal and time, they each briefly display magnified in the centre of the home screen. On my wife’s phone this does not work at all. What settings do I need to change for my wife to have a similar facility? Thx in advance.
