After updating to os sequoia 15.3 on my macbook pro M2, my vip mailboxes are empty. How can I retrieve them?

I'm delighted to say that updating to 15.4 has resolved the problem - VIPs (for me) are now functioning as they did before disappearing in 15.3.
Can we revert to Sonoma after "upgrading" to Sequoia?

Same. VIP mailbox now contains a jumbled up mess of random emails. "Rebuilt" mailboxes to no avail. Nothing seems to help.
