Apple offers a 14 day return privilege on new purchases, but the phone must be in perfect condition with the box and all accessories.

Unfortunately, your phone will have zero value as far as a trade in against a new phone purchase, so if you are looking for a new phone, it will be a new purchase for you.

If your current phone is still working, you might consider taking it in to the Apple Store or an authorized Apple service shop to see if the back can be repaired.

Sorry, but the trade-in value through Apple would be $0 for a phone with a broken back glass. You would be better off looking for a cellular promotion that gives away a free iPhone 16 where the trade-in can be in any condition. I have seen a few here in there. It would likely require you to switch carriers and you would be locked into a contract for a certain amount of time.
