The Accessibility Voice Over tutorial has locked up my iPad Pro

I was looking at the Accessibility Voiceover tutorial and it was behaving in a very funky way so I tried to turn it off, but it has locked up my iPad.

I powered off to see if that would help and also tried the directions I saw for iPhone lock ups which didn't help either. pressing the volume up button then down and finally holding the top button until the Apple appears.

That didn't help. Any idea on next steps?

How is it “locked up”? If VoiceOver is on you must tap twice anywhere that you would normally tap once. Or, you can try “Hey Siri, turn off VoiceOver"

Thanks for your reply Lawrence. When I powered down my iPad, restarted, there was literally a lock icon on the screen along with a black box around the time. If I double tapped, it just read the time out to me. I powered down several times and at one point had an opportunity to try to log in, and when I entered my password, it narrated it but did nothing.

I left it for a few hours, then annoyingly when my husband took a look at it and entered my password, it opened and I was able to turn off the VoiceOver and disable the accessibility features. I swear lol, this was not all in my mind!
