How do I restrict my App Store searches to free apps only?

I used to see a button that said free on apps or with a price on them, now they all say get, and you have to dig through all the data to try to find the cost or subscription price. Very shady practice. Is there a way to filter the search results to only bring up free apps or are the free apps gone?

thanks.

A "GET" button means the app its free to download. That has no bearing on weather they then have associated subscriptions or not.

Paid Apps can have a fee to download and then also have paid subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Additional costs are however always disclosed in the Info section of the app under "In-App Purchases".

There is now way to explicitly filter by free to download and having no trials or subscriptions and no other in-app purchases though.

You are always free to cancel any trial before it renews into a paid subscription.
