QuickTime Player cannot open files in the “iCloud synchronization file” format."

I am trying to access/play mp4 videos saved on my desktop and they won't open and I'm getting the message: QuickTime Player cannot open files in the “iCloud synchronization file” format." What do I do?? I need the videos for a memorial service!

Quicktime will not open - Not resolved from previous conversation The issue is when you go launch quicktime, you are taken to the icloud folder and you cant click on the open as its greyed out so you cant launch it.
