I was facing the same issue, but I solved it yesterday after speaking with Apple Support. They explained that the problem could be due to being on a beta program, not updating your AirPods to the latest firmware, or not updating your iPhone to the latest iOS.




To fix it, reset your AirPods correctly: place both AirPods in the case, open the case, then press and hold the button on the back for 15 seconds until you hear a beep. After that, reconnect your AirPods to your iPhone. The issue should be resolved.
