Apple AirPods warranty coverage

I brought my son some apple AirPods for Christmas with his name on the case the engraving has completely worn off, can this be repaired under warranty

Does apple still fix airpods if warranty expires while in their care? Hello, so my warranty expires on September second and apple has taken a bit longer then the 2 days they told me to send the box to get replacement airpods… I’m worried that by the time they replace them the warranty will end. I plan to extend it regardless however i was wondering if they would still fix them since i made the report ahead of the expiration date or if they would charge me full price if the warranty expires while they have the airpods.

Can I repair a product at any Apple certified store? I live in Greece and there’s no official Apple stores here. I have a pair of AirPods which have been showing some problems lately and I want them to be replaced since I still have warranty on them. The question is: can I go to any Apple service certified store and have them replaced?

I cannot find a clear answer online. It would be best for you to contact the Apple Store Service help and ask them.
