USB-C hub not showing on MacBook Air

I have a new GaN 200w USB-C hub. My macbook is getting power, but doesn't recognize the devices connected to it.

Are you by any chance referring to this device?

Satechi – 200W USB-C 6-Port GaN Charger

It's the only one I could find on the Satechi site that seemed to match all of the words "GaN", "200w", and "USB-C". But it is not a hub, and you can't use it to expand a Mac – or any other computer.

It is simply a high-end charger. You plug it into the wall, and then you can plug up to 6 USB-C devices that need to be charged into it. It supports USB-C Power Delivery and can deliver aggregate power of up to 200 watts. (It looks like ports PD1 and PD2 support up to 140 watts, while PD3 – PD6 support up to 100 watts.

It doesn't carry data between ports. That's not part of the job it was advertised to do. I think the device you want is a USB-C hub/dock or Thunderbolt hub/dock.
