Screen issues on M1 MacBook Pro 16"

I purchased the first Apple M1 Pro 16", when it was first released, and I've had various issues with it since day one. I keep it in pristine condition and it still looks as though it's "straight out of the box"... no dings, dents, scrathes, etc.

A few days ago, I noticed a very faint white line across the menubar, about an 1/8 inch from the top. There was also a similar vertical line approximately 2-1/4" from the left edge. Both appear to be "fluttering". Each day the lines have become more pronounced and each is now a double line. There is also black square at the intersection, which is becoming more pronounced over time.

I have AppleCare coverage thru Nov 16, 2025, but it takes an entire day out of my schedule to drive to the nearest Apple Store, plus at least $50 in fuel. I'm also dealing with some medical issues and upcoming surgery, which complicate the situation even more. I'm assuming that I'll be forced to make that trip to check it out. But I was curious if anyone else has experienced similar issues... and if so, what was the prognosis.

I appreciate any feedback.

Sincerely,

svDrifter

PS: I've attached a video showing the issue. (Notoce that the lines also respond to movement of the cursor.)
