How do I connect a USB-C microphone to my device?

Hi all!

During a meeting and/or a facetime call, is it possible to define my airpods pro as a headphones (without its mic) and at the same time connecting a Rode mic via usb-c and use it as a primary mic?

Shortly, primary audio output will be airpods pro and primary audio input will be usb-c (Rode etc)

Thanks!

Your iPad will always use your AirPods microphone while the AirPods are being used.

To the best of my knowledge, when using AirPods, native Apple Apps do not offer the facility to use a separate microphone. Some third-party Apps may support connection of alternative input sources, but this will determined by the App itself.

Compatible USB-C Microphones connect directly to your iPad's USB-C connector. For older models of iPad that feature a Lightning connector, you will require an appropriate adapter.
