iPhone 16 Pro Display issue

I bought a brand-new iPhone 16 Pro less than a month ago and suddenly a white band appeared on the display. I went to the Apple Store and they confirmed they would repair it for free but they refused to give me a replacement. I’m really disappointed because I paid for a new phone and now after just a few weeks I already have to get it repaired. I expected better durability from a brand-new device. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I've been buying iPhones since the release of the iPhone 3GS, and my family and I have owned multiple Apple devices over the years, including the iPhone 3GS, 4S, 5, 6, SE (1st Gen), 7, 8, 12 Pro, 13, as well as an iPad Pro, a 2019 MacBook Air, and a 16" MacBook Pro. In over a decade of using Apple products, I've never encountered a display issue on any of these devices. Every purchase has been made exclusively at Apple Retail Stores.
