Turning off VoiceOver on iMac
on my new iMac 2024 Voice Over starts up even though I have turn it off? How to permanently turn off?

The ⌘ F5 keys turn VoiceOver On & Off.
If you want to disable those keys for VoiceOver, go to Apple > System Setting > Keyboard > select Keyboard Shortcuts... > Accessibility in the sidebar and uncheck Turn VoiceOver on or off.
