I don’t want my map showing this farce of gulf of America. I’d like it to show the correct name, Gulf of Mexico. I’d like to change it back?

You can report an issue with any location on Apple Maps. The steps to do that are:

I WANT THE CORRECT NAME WHICH IS GULF OF MEXICO, (NOT GULF OF AMERICA).
The submit button has been deactivated. Not sure when it was deactivated but it doesn't work on 2/17/2025.

Sorry. There is no highlighting of the name, so it's impossible to report this issue.
MapQuest still calls it "Gulf of Mexico".
MapQuest still calls it the Gulf of Mexico. If they can do that, certainly Apple can.
Most mapping services default to the names used in each region; as is the case with Apple and with Google.
Change name back to Gulf of Mexico

It was never the "Golf of Mexico," at least not in the U.S.
Apple & all others should return the map to read - Gulf of Mexico.
