iPhone 14 pro max stuck in restore mode

Since the last update iPhone 14 Pro Max is stuck in reboot mode even when plugging into computer it gets to the end of the download to restore it and then just comes up with an error saying an error has occurred cannot complete task. What else can be done?

iPhone keeps getting stuck on restore screen I have an iPhone 11 Pro max and it keeps getting stuck on 'support.apple.com/phone/restore' screen following update attempt. In this instance updating to 26 I think? This is the third time this as happened and I have to pay a local store to sort this out and restore it to factory settings. There is obviously an issue with all these latest updates and should not be happening. Perhaps Apple will compensate for the costs and inconvenience continually being caused?
