My Apple Watch continues to show unread messages when there are none. I understand these are spam messages but the only way to clear them from my watch seems to be ask Siri to read unread messages.
Outside of having to listen to these messages I'm concerned about security of having spam messages opened. I can not find any way to clear spam from the Messages app.

What happens if you delete the Spam messages from your iPhone?
If you have set up Messges on your watch to mirror your iPhone, they should be removed after they have been deleted from the iPhone.
You can also delete the conversion without reading the message by swiping left:

If you open the Message App on your iPhone and swipe a suspicious message to the left, you will get the option to delete it and report it as spam:

When I receive messages that are spam I do that but apparently Apple marks some messages as spam before I see them and they don't come through to me but apparently they're still in my account. These are the ones that appear on my watch and I can't seem to find them to remove them except to ask Siri to play unread texts.
I have not been able to find a location in the Messages app on my I Phone for spam. That would work out if there is a way to do that
