My kid played with my iPad and now all the apps are missing from the home screen.
The apps are still on the iPad when I go into the app library via the dock, but before I had all the apps sorted into topics and subfolders on 4 different pages on the home screen and that's what's gone.
Now there's only the last page of my sorted home screens and when I swipe right I get to the App Library, which I didn't before.

Okay I found the solution:
To hide or show hidden pages on your Home screen:
Press and hold an empty area on your Home screen.
Tap Edit, then tap Edit Pages. Or tap the dots near the bottom of the screen.
Tap any unmarked circles to show a hidden page.
