can't you access and your music library on iPhone 14 pro? I an do it on my 15promax, but my husband can't on his 14pro. does he have to subscribe to apple music?

Does “music library” mean music stored in iCloud? Storing music in iCloud cannot happen without either an Apple Music or iTunes Match subscription.
Does “music library” mean something else, like music stored on a computer? Please provide details if so.
both actually, we finally ended up hooking up the phone to his MacBook and copying the music to his phone. Good to know about the iCloud thing, however...
