I left my iPhone in a Uber ride. The location was showing for half a day but the battery must’ve died and my data plan (pay as you go) has expired.

Is there any way of locating the phone without battery and service ?

Sorry, but no if you are asking about locating the phone using Find My.

At this point, all that you can really do is call the Uber company to see if the driver has reported that he has found a phone.
