Unable to send email from iCloud account and Gmail account.

I don't know much about Apple computers. I have an fully updated iMac that refuses to send email... If anyone out there could offer me some assistance it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 13.7

Try the following as a solution:

Back up your Mac with Time Machine - Apple Support
Remove the Google account completely: Remove or temporarily turn off email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support
Turn your iCloud email off in: System Setings > Internet Accounts > iCloud > click "See All" > iCloud Mail > OFF
Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support
Reboot the Mac
Turn your iCloud email back on in: System Setings > Internet Accounts > iCloud > click "See All" > iCloud Mail > ON
Add the Google account back: Add email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support
