Photo Booth not working in M3 Macbook Air

  1. Macbook Air M3
  2. Running Sequoia. Just updated yesterday. Photo Booth wasn't working before the update either.
  3. No green light next to the camera on using Photo Booth
  4. Photo Booth just shows a black screen
  5. Camera works in a chatting app called "LINE"
  6. Camera works in Photo Booth on SAFE MODE boot, but when I return to normal boot, it doesn't work again.

7.I have tried the option+drag method on the app --> The copy doesn't work, and once deleted, the original still doesn't work.

8.I have tried to delete the file in /Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/, but there is no file to be deleted.

Help :(

that tells me that you must have some software installed that is interfering with the camera. i'm thinking you should download and run the free version of EtreCheck so we can see if you have some software installed that is causing your issue. make sure you give "full disk access" to etrecheck. Learn how to use it by reading Using EtreCheck. if you need help interpreting the report, you can see how to post the report here by reading How to use the Add Text Feature When Posting Large Amounts of Text, i.e. an Etrecheck Report. and it automatically obscures sensitive things (like serial numbers) so you don't have to worry about sharing the report here.
