Hey quick question. How do you screenshot? It isn't working for me and yes I do know how to screenshot but everytime I do it just turns off. Please message or email back.

You should certainly update for security reasons, but it is unlikely to solve the problem.
Go to settings/accessibility/touch and see if you can configure it to use Back Tap.
Another possibility: Do you have a work email account on your iPhone? Blocking screenshots is a security option they can set.
I do but every time I do so it doesn't work
Since my phone needs the 18.3.1 update would that maybe work?

From your description you may be pressing the Side button before Volume Down. You need to press both simultaneously or Volume Down first.
