Problems in iOS 18.3.1 of Storage, iCloud, Messages, and Apple Payment

If I delete or offload an app it still shows notifications - what is going on with this update. Someone needs to be fired and Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave seeing what’s being released too soon. He never let these kinds of issues into the wild

What troubleshooting have you done for your email?

You are aware (I hope) that ANYONE IN THE WORLD can send you emails that appear to be from anyone else in the world, even appearing to be from Apple, Google, Microsoft, your neighbor, your relatives or anyone.

things that not working :

1. screenshot gone freeze at the screen - which you have to restart the ipad.
2. unable to share - not even the airdrop could recognise other devices of mine

hope apple could solve these ASAP cause it ruin my working life with ipad. We chose to use ipad cause we dont expect any LAG from apple so please keep the iOS in best before it launched to users.

It is not a problem for all iPads; it is a problem specifically with YOUR iPad. There are hundreds of millions of iPads that don’t have your issues. I’ve been having issues with receiving and accepting calls and only just really clicked it started happening when I updated my phone. I put my sim into an old phone which wasn’t on the latest software and it worked absolutely fine but even with WiFi calling and perfect signal I can’t make or receive calls

Iphone storage bug which has been there since 18.2 I heard it was there in ios 17.3 but it wasn't an issue for me

Icloud storage bug thats been there since ios 18.0.0 where the iclous storage keeps doubling for no reason.

MESSAGES bug where the texts aren't being deleted even when u manually delete them from recently deleted folder. Apple said it takes up to 4 days to delete on the server end. Its still not doing this. This bug has been there since ios 18.2 and still not fixed

Apple payment bug, I just got a new card and I had it activated back in Oct. went to the bank everything. Its been fine until today when it asked me to verify it. Its fine but I just dont know why it asked me to verify it when its already been verified by apple and the bank. Im thinking its an ios 18.3.1 bug all I do is enter the 3 digit number from the back of the card and its fine

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN. However, VPN actually reduces your privacy, it does not enhance it.

Hi yes I’ve checked this and have no VPN installed. I’ve been onto my internet provider too and can confirm I’ve got good and fast signal, I’ve had an apple technician who confirmed there was no hardware issues with my phone and another technician who checked my settings. My work phone works fine and I’ve put my current sim into an old iPhone which doesn’t have the latest software and that worked fine.

Yep had a technician and a senior technician run diagnostic and check settings on my phone.

no no issues with my mobile provider

other people in my house who are with the same mobile provider have no issues

Same here my phone is freezing frequently and when you touch the screen to do something like unlock phone, play games, anything that you worked have to touch screen for. Touching screen not responding

Apple is not allowing this, I would also downgrade to 17.5. But it is blocked by Apple, due to safety reasons. An instable, not working system has to be used instead. The local network saving is blocked by the new version and it seems that they will not change it back.

My iOS 18 versions have been totally stable. If yours is not you need to troubleshoot why your device, out of 500 million, is having problems.

Nice to you, but if you require a storage on your own network is a former part of an older version of the OS not existing any more. This is not only my problem or the problem of my device, it is a change of the OS. Why is Apple not allowing to downgrade the system? For safety reasons? I am old enough to decide about the safety of my device and the operating system on it, but I am not allowed to choose free which OS can be installed on my device.

I have installed the IOS 18.3.2 now and the problem to save own data on the own network drive is still not possible. This is not a safety issue, because I can still open every file on the network drive. But it is not possible to save my data on my on drive. Thank you Apple for advising me and not allowing me to downgrade my device.
