Can’t turn off stolen device protection

I figured out how to turn it off even if it doesn’t recognize your face !

Start by selecting Face ID and passcode, then go to stolen device protection. Click on it and it gives you the option to turn it off. Try to turn it off. It’s going to try to run your face and not recognize it. It’ll come up with the notice and you hit OK and you just repeatedly over and over and over try to turn it off and about the third or fourth time it popped up with allowing me to enter Enter my passcode.

Also make sure you’re at a recognized location and start the security delay

Though I believe if you have Stolen Device Protection set to Always, you will have to follow a longer route to turn it off. You must sign into iCloud.com/find, then remove your iPhone from your list of Find My devices, thus turning off Activation Lock (Also Stolen Device Protection). Then turn Find My back on after and Stolen Device Protection will remain off. Just some helpful info to share with you.
