Is there a way I can record directly to the external storage that is plugged into my iPhone?

I want to record videos directly to my external storage. But I discovered that I need to have a setting called ProRes turned on but I’m using IPhone 14 Plus. Is there any way I can still record directly to the external storage that is plugged into my phone?
