Grievance Regarding Repeated Touchscreen Issue on iPhone
Dear Apple Customer Service,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a recurring issue with my iPhone, which I purchased on 7th April 2024.
Within 15 days of purchasing the phone, I started facing a problem where the touchscreen was intermittently unresponsive. The screen would fail to register touch 5 to 7 times a day, causing significant inconvenience.
I visited the nearby authorized Apple service center, where I was informed that the issue was related to a software problem. They performed a software update, but the problem persisted. I returned to the service center, and again, they attributed the issue to the software, performing another update. However, after a week, the problem reoccurred.
I was then advised that my phone would be sent to the head branch in Bengaluru for further inspection. After receiving my phone back from Bengaluru, I was again informed that a software update was performed, but the issue continued. Subsequently, the service center replaced the display under their guidance.
However, to my dismay, the same problem reappeared within a week after receiving my phone back. I went to the local authorized service center again, and I was told that there was nothing further they could do. I was advised to contact the Bengaluru service center for a resolution.
At this point, I am extremely frustrated, as I have made numerous visits to authorized service centers, and my issue has not been properly resolved despite multiple attempts. I would appreciate it if Apple could investigate the matter thoroughly and provide a permanent solution to this recurring problem.
I kindly request the following:
- A thorough investigation of the issue, including a possible hardware check, as the repeated software updates and display replacement have not resolved the problem.
- An explanation of why the issue has not been addressed despite multiple service center visits.
- A resolution in the form of a replacement unit or an alternative solution that ensures the proper functionality of the device.
I trust that Apple will take the necessary steps to resolve this matter promptly. I look forward to your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution to this ongoing issue.
