Refund request for an accidental money transfer through Apple Pay

I accidentally sent the wrong person money and I would like to get my money back.

If the funds were not accepted, cancel the send. Open Apple Cash, navigate to the transaction, select it and cancel.

Or, long-press on the amount in iMessage for menu options to cancel.


If the funds were accepted, you can only ask for the money back.

After reviewing your account, I can see that your attempt cancelling the subscription didn't reflect to your account. This means your subscription at this moment is still active and it is purchased via iTunes. Unfortunately, we have limited access to third-party purchases.


While I would love to assist you directly with canceling and refunding your account, we do not have access to Apple billing systems. The only information we can see is that the subscription is linked to your LinkedIn account.

 

I recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly, as they are the ones who can cancel the subscription linked to LinkedIn through Apple billing and process the refund. Please rest assured that they are familiar with this process.
