How do I disable new editing tools and AI to simplify my iPhone keyboard?

Why has my keyboard become so difficult to use? Same with responding to messages. What to do w new editing “tools” which have taken over ? Using my phone is so difficult now. How to shut off AI?

It seems like new tools are getting in the way of simple use. When I need to input w my keypad it may stall, I can’t edit by hand - the little marker where want to input won’t move or respond to my touch to move it. It might select all type and then erase all typing.

Theres so much to navigate in terms of tools. I really prefer a simpler interface. How can I return my phone to a less “helpful” state?
