App Store Update and Download Glitches
I have a Mac mini and MacBook Pro. I am getting random errors when trying to update apps on the MacBook Pro saying the apps were purchased from a different account. The same apps using the same account update just fine on Mac mini.
Also, getting messages telling me that apps I have purchased cannot be downloaded on either machine because they were purchased from a different account. I have Family Sharing on for items purchased on an old Yahoo account and the current Me(.)com / iCloud account. I get the same error message regardless of which account I try.
Both machines are authorized and I have confirmed Family Sharing includes purchases. Even if not, the account where the item was purchased should update or download the app.
This is new issue that appears to have shown up after either 15.3 or 15.3.1 was installed.
Mac mini in an M1 2020 model, MacBook Pro is an M2 Pro 2023 model.
