How can I fix my iPhone 14 Pro Max crashing and stuck updates?

A few weeks ago my 14 pro max just started acting up constantly crashing apps like opening iMessage or the settings. every time I tried to factory reset because I had a beta OS, it would just crash the settings app and return to Home Screen had to go to tech store for them to factory reset because I don’t have pc. After the factory reset I had issues with the iPhone setup crashing and freezing for a few days getting stuck at the passcode part. To this day I still have the same issues I cannot open iMessage app but can receive messages have tried just about everything. When I try to update the os from 18.2.1 it just says verifying update even when left overnight plugged in. At my wits end at this point have no idea what to do at this point since the closest Apple Store is 6/7 hours away
