Computer restarts randomly, panic task

Computer restarts randomly, often it's when a game of league of legends begins. Want to get sense if this is my own device's problem? (ie. time to upgrade?) Using 2017 Macbook pro on Monterey v12.7.5, 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7. Error below

Panics are low-level software or hardware issues.

Kernel add-ons, add-on VPNs, add-on cleaners or add-on security apps, remove all of those per the vendors’ instructions, and try again.

You can try Apple hardware diagnostics here, but those usually aren’t good at detecting transient hardware errors.

I’m aware of various 2017 to 2020 MacBook Pro models with transient crashes, as well. One I was dealing with most recently was crashing randomly, was repaired under AppleCare+ (mainboard replacement), and continued crashing.

If it’s not an add-on app triggering this, yes, I suspect you’re headed for a replacement, as repairs on an Intel Mac this far back (vintage) aren’t usually all that worthwhile.

I'm not sure the game is even supported on Monterey if the information here is still correct which states macOS 12 & 13 are not supported....even a fresh install onto macOS 10.15 has issues (seems to be dated 2025, but I'm not certain):
