I know that some people are having a problem searching through the new setup. I want to make a stab at one change that seems confusing. Now, when you open the main Photos window, you see "Photos" at the top with the most recent pictures and Collections and Albums and stuff at the bottom, apparently all mixed up. So, if you want to see all your pictures, instead of hitting the "Library" button like you used to, now you scroll up, and it says "Library" in the top. I know it took me a while to figure out that Library view was different from Photos!

With Library at the top a menu appears at the bottom, Using that menu, you can change the Library view to show pictures in order of Date Captured, as before, or sort by Date Added just like Recents used to.

Instead of having two separate views, we have one view that can go either way. So now, the Library view can go either way.

The other great thing about the new system is that there are lots of ways to make it your own. You can eliminate

sections you don't use by unchecking them, and you can put the ones you want to see at the top. And in some sections, like Pinned, you can choose only the views you like, and rearrange the order to suit you.

These customized features let you put People & Pets at the top, maybe, or what your favorite collection is. I've found it to be quite handy to move stuff I don't want out of my way.

Maybe this helps a bit? As muguy said, we might be able to help with specific questions…
