Someone please help I upgraded my phone today to iPhone 16 pro max and now all of a sudden I’m not getting any group messages that has an android in it and my RCS said waiting activation.. I called my phone carrier and they couldn’t do anything besides create a ticket and get back to me.. does anyone have any ideas I have tried everything

I was having the same issue. What resolved it immediately was disabling my third party VPN (PIA)—make sure you toggle “connect on demand” OFF. Otherwise it’ll keep restarting after you turn off the VPN.
Not OP, but i switched to an iphone 12 and its working, iphone 16 pro max is not, This started after an update i think on March 11th.

Ugh i really hope this works bc i have been having this issue for a week and a half with my new iphone 16 from at&t. i switched from t-mobile.

go to your messages and turn off rcs 2 times and then turn it back on , go to your number erase it ! then all the rcs messages will show ! thank me later peace !!!!✌🏾🤝🏾🙏🏾
