There may be some Privacy & Security setting that you need to change.
you should also go into System Settings > CDs & DVDs and check which actions are set to do depending on the type of disc that is inserted.
The cd shows on desktop. Music App starts simultaneously and the cd description shows up on Music App and asks if I would like to import the cd. I click yes and and it says the file cannot be converted and a window pop-up then reads "Access to the source volume was denied. Check the System settings for removable volume access."
Not sure where to go here.
What CD...?
Have you tried some different CD's...?
What happens when you double click the CD icon on your desktop...?
+1 👍🏽
This one is easy to forget when the Mac doesn't normally display that unless an optical drive is connected.
TY. :)
Welcome.
Thank you! 🙂
have you tried playing the CD with the music app after clicking on "no" to import it? some commercial CDs have DRM protections that do not allow importing.
