After updating to iOS 18.3.1 the car play will not let the volume of a phone call come through on my car but only to my iPhone 14 , there is the option on my phone to listen to the call via car speakers but I have to open the phone to do this , previously before the updates the call came through on the car speakers , is there a fix for this please ??

A. Restart the iPhone:
Having just installed an update, start with a. restart: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
B. Re-Pair the iPhone:
Remove this iPhone from the Audio System, and then add it back.
C. Update your Audio System:
Se if there is a way to update the audio system
