Do privacy screen protectors affect the proximity sensor on certain iphones

Hi guys, was wondering whether privacy screen protectors affect this proximity sensor on iphones specifically the newer models like mine (14 pro), the older models had cutouts but on the newer ones its no longer the same case. As my phones screen goes blank during calls and wont wake up unless i double click the power button.

Proximity sensor always flashing when phone is unlocked Hello, I'm using iPhone 12 and latest iOS. I found that proximity sensor always working when phone is unlocked. Blinking without of purpose... I disabled all features related to Face ID and automatic switching on of the screen. I disabled distance to eyes tracking as well, but proximity sensor still active even if no application is working. Touching iPhone in nightstand mode kills other alarms In the nightstand mode, if you touch the phone, it kills other subsequint alarms. This has been an ongoing problem. Why has this not been fixed? iPhone XSMax iOS 18.2
